tunes for tuesday.

ok. we realize we have failed. yet again. but here is some music to get you through the rest of the week. these are some good ones…

Tiffany’s PickTwenty-One Pilots – “Holding onto You

I am obsessed with this song! Good ol’ Kellyn introduced me to this band. They are comprised of two guys, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, and they’re from Columbus, OH. We saw them play the Troubadour here in LA and it was seriously one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. My mind was blown! They sounded great and they had so much energy. If you get a chance to see them live, do it.

I recommend listening to their album ‘Vessels‘ as well. Spotify also has special commentary tracks on each song by Tyler which made me like the album even more. I can’t think of a band out there that sounds like them. This song just has so much energy much like their live show!

Kellyn’s PickThe Mowgli’s – “San Francisco

I’m going to honest, I have no clue how to pronounce this band’s name, but that doesn’t mean I like them any less…right? I discovered this band, because they are opening for Youngblood Hawke here in LA on Thursday night at the Troubadour, and I am even more excited about the show now.  They are an eight piece band, and I’m super anxious to seem them live – not to mention, I will find out how to pronounce their name!

I just love how happy this song feels.  Even the video is guaranteed to make your day a little brighter.  Their entire EP, Love’s Not Dead is pretty great.  And if you are headed to SXSW, this band is set to be playing quite a bit throughout the week, so be sure to find them!

Don’t forget to subscribe to our Spotify playlist!! Happy Tuesday everyone!!
